Shiseido Perfect Rouge and Shiseido Rouge Parfait lipsticks reviews
At an event, I received a sample of four gorgeous lipsticks from the Shiseido Perfect Rouge Rouge Parfait range.
RD 514 – a crimson red lipstick
Glowing Matte PK 224 – glowing matte mat eclat, a pretty peach lipstick
Glowing Matte RD 722 – a nude lipstick, brown with pink tones that is subtle yet flattering.
Tender Sheer RS 326 – a raspberry pink lipstick.
RD 514 red lipstick tried and tested
This is my favourite. I seldom wear red lipstick as getting the right shade is tricky. Yet this intense red shade is very flattering. The lipstick glides on easily. A little goes a long way. The color is very strong and matte with a slight sheen. It moisturizes the lips comfortably.
The best part, a slick of this lipstick is all one needs to look fully made up… and ready to face the world. Great for when I’m really pressed for time.
Verdict: I love it.
Glowing Matte RD 722
At the other extreme is this extremely natural looking nude lipstick. It covers well yet looks barely there. Polished and subtle, it offers full coverage for a polished look. It’s the perfect foil for smoky eyes.
Glowing Matte PK 224
This is a warm golden pink lipstick. The shade it more like apricot or peach. The look is very natural and subtle. Again, a single coat provides full coverage that is natural and pretty.
Tender Sheer RS 326
Now this is a sweet cool pink that moisturises lips very well. It has a glossy sheen. Although it is called sheer, when applied, tender sheer offers full coverage with a single coat. The look is sweet and pretty.
