Payot Acne Skincare Reviews
April 5, 2011 No CommentsI was getting big pimples which were angry and red. I could feel those hard bumps beneath my skin – painful pimples threatening to erupt.
My entire arsenal couldn’t fend this off so I braced myself and invested in Payot skincare. It cost me a hefty sum but I was desperate.
Once I got home, I washed my face with my regular facial wash from Avene. Then I used the Payot facial masque,Payot Masque Purifiant and left it on for 20 minutes before rinsing it off. I noticed the tiny blackheads and whiteheads around my nose had gone.

I followed that with a cotton pad soaked with Payot Tonique Purifiant to cleanse my face further and hydrate my skin. Also known as Payot Lotion Stimulante. An alcohol-free stimulating toner with green coffee extract.

Next, I used Payot So Pure serum purifiante balancing and purifying serum generously all over my skin to control the oil or sebum production.
It’s a very strong oil-control serum that tackles the excess oil on my greasy skin. All that oil clogs the pores. Bacteria breeds in those pores, leading to inflammation — angry red pimples.

Finally, I applied Payot Pate Grise soin assainissant aux extraits de schiste, purifying care with shale extracts on all my pimples.. practically half my face.
It goes on thick and pinkish white. A dry cream, if there is such a thing. It felt like a concealer, yet really tackled those zits without being drying or irritating. I used it as a concealer by day to hide those angry red spots.

I’ve been doing this everyday, but without the masque, for 3 days already and my skin is clearer.
It is also drier with fine lines of dehydration appearing on my forehead, probably due to the super strong serum. So I’ve switched back to Avene by day, but Payot by night.
The results seem promising. I’ll keep you updated on this.
