How To Wear Eye Makeup
The Bare Essentials Intro To Eyes tutorial explains the simplest full eye makeup application.
1. Apply prime time eyelid primer all over eyelids from lash to brow. Let it dry after application before applying shadow (takes a few seconds). I applied that creamy nude primer over my eyelids with my finger. It looked like a powdery cream concealer, spread easily and dried quickly.
2. Use the buffing eye brush from the kit to apply the flaunt eyecolor along the lower half of your eyelid. That comes in a tiny jar, like a miniaturized jar of loose powder. The universally flattering shade goes on easily, looks natural as it adds depth to the eyes.
3. Line the top lash line and outer half of the lower lash line with short gliding strokes using the big bright eyeliner. That’s a khol pencil. I like the fact that you twist it to reveal the khol tip and twist it back again to retract it, unlike the wooden pencils that need sharpening. The pencil glides on very smoothly. Easily. It defines the eyes yet looks so natural.

4. Apply flawless definition mascara from root to tip. Apply to lower lashes, holding the mascara wand vertically. Use at least 2 coats on the top lashes and concentrate on the outer edges of the eye. Let the mascara dry between coats.
That’s it. Full eye makeup application in 4 easy steps. The result? Well defined eyes that look bigger, more defined, sophisticated yet so natural.
This is an excellent gift – a how to use makeup set – for a teenage girl who is ready to start wearing makeup.
